When fully refurbishing this Grade II listed townhouse the design team were sensitive to the building’s heritage by restoring its historical fabric. The addition of a basement level provided space for a cinema, gym and open-plan kitchen and dining room.
The interior design team focused on creating a sophisticated, elegant and contemporary design using bespoke furniture pieces accentuated by delicate fabrics, specialist wallpapers and carefully curated accessories.
The underlying architecture coupled with the client’s desire for the house to be a practical and welcoming place to live was the inspiration behind the design. It is a house to be lived in not to be admired from afar.
