Kensington Mansions, a Grade-II listed, 14,000sqft townhouse set over nine storeys, for which Rigby and Rigby provided project management and construction support, has triumphed at the design et al International Design and Architecture Award for Residential Property (£20m+). The project, led by our partners, international interior designers Taylor Howes, marks the second time this prestigious awards programme has recognised a Rigby & Rigby project in the £20m+ interior design category.

The development provided the opportunity to restore a historic example of London architecture back to its former glory, creating a striking and luxurious residence, complete with pool and spa, that is also a fully functioning family home.

Rigby and Rigby worked closely with Taylor Howes to balance the extensive work required to deliver against the client’s brief with the restrictions and limitations associated with developing a listed property. The result is a unique and beautiful blend of old and new, mixing elements of contemporary design with the traditional, original features that give the property its warmth and character.
