Top design studio launches country projects division
“London-centric interior design studio Rigby & Rigby has launched a new division, dedicated to the construction and delivery of super-prime country house projects.
Headquartered in Stratford Upon Avon, the new Country Projects arm will specialise in designing and building modern estates in and around Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds. It’s “an obvious move” for the business, says CEO Iain Johnson, and one that capitalises on high-and-rising demand for country living from urbanites.
The firm already has a few notable Cotswold country projects on its books, including a 12,500 sq ft contemporary castle (billed as the first castle to be built in the UK for over 100 years), a huge 25,000 sq ft modern new-build, a 6,350 sq ft barn conversion, interiors for a Gothic mansion, and a pavilion building.
Rigby & Rigby is part of Allect Design Group, formed in 2018, which also owns Helen Green Design and Lawson Robb. R&R’s London projects include an ultra-prime mansion at 15 Lancelot Place, a church conversion just behind Harrods, and the Berkeley Arcade Residences.”
