Rigby & Rigby’s 100th Project Features on Prime Resi

Rigby & Rigby’s Project W8 100, a rare double-house in Kensington, has been profiled on Prime Resi. The article “Bedford Gardens project emerges as £25m super-home” looks at the finished project which has recently been put on the market.

“A rare double-house on Kensington’s Bedford Gardens has emerged from a wholesale overhaul as a £25m super-home.

Last seen going under offer in 2015 as a development project, the Grade II listed spread between Kensington Church Street and Campden Hill Road has been extended and remodelled by super-prime design firm Rigby & Rigby into one of W8’s finest.

The finished article now measures a mighty 9,370 square feet (up from 6,783), which has been achieved via a new basement and pushing out to the side and rear (plans for which were approved in 2014).

The addition of a car lift and underground garage was a good move, freeing up some off-street parking out front, and the rear garden has been nicely landscaped – but the internal space is something else.

A double-volume reception now has an entire glass wall of floor to ceiling doors, and a full-on leisure complex has gone in below, complete with swimming pool, gym, treatment room and games room.

The new layout allows for seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, along with a passenger lift, and the finish is top-drawer throughout.”
