Considered as one of the leading names in ultra-prime property, Rigby & Rigby has delivered projects in some of the world’s most exclusive destinations with a portfolio that includes heritage projects, contemporary new builds, luxury private residences, superyachts, private family offices and high-profile developments in the UK, across Europe and in Asia.

Iain Johnson, Founder and CEO, says “We are really pleased to have been considered for this award. We have collected some of the most talented people in design in the UK and we are broadening our offering to engage on every aspect of creative input and delivery in our projects. With our recent expansion of our 3D and graphic team, we have been extremely fortunate that our clients have engaged us to consider their projects much more holistically, with the output from our studio on recent projects including owners’ stationary, yacht crew clothing, accessories and marketing advice which adds to our proposition as the most integrated project team in the UK”.

Rigby & Rigby’s multi-disciplinary team includes architects, product designers, 3D artists, graphic designers, interior designers and a construction delivery team, allowing the firm to have a unique model in the industry with its staff holding a broad skillset across many sectors. Its people will take the time to meet the client and get to know their aspirations for the project, ensuring they understand the brief clearly, to ensure they not only meet their expectations but exceed them.

James Ashfield Studio Director of Interior Design:

“At Rigby & Rigby we’re proud of our gifted multi-disciplinary team and our research-based approach to projects. We apply intelligence to our designs and create something truly unique for our clients. Our paired back design emphasises detail, quality and craftsmanship, and when this is integrated with wellness and technology, our mind and physical health are both positively improved”

From initial discussions, they will begin to piece together design concepts, which are communicated back to the client through a series of mood boards, material palettes, floor plans, and sketches. This will be followed by developing initial concepts into a detailed reality represented by technical drawings, fitted joinery design, actual materials, and finishes, as well as the selection of freestanding furniture and accessories.

Rigby & Rigby’s teams strive to ensure the architecture and design of each build is leading the way in providing excellence not only within design but within living. Each element is tailored to the client’s individual requirements, delivering sophisticated design on a superior level.

A prime example of this is Rigby & Rigby’s Lancelot House project. A 17,000sqft mansion in Knightsbridge, which has become the first WELLness accredited and Air Rated project in the UK, showcasing Rigby & Rigby’s teams’ commitment to the wellbeing of clients.

Internally, Rigby & Rigby is committed to achieving this for its team too, with each member being gifted an annual Wellness Fund, allowing them to spend £150 per annum on a service or item that will bring wellbeing to them. This is alongside flexible working hours, cycle to work scheme, support for training and development, as well as birthday leave!

Whilst Rigby & Rigby continues to grow, the commitment to the client experience remains at the heart of each project, and the qualities that define the company remain unchanged: intelligent design combining traditional craftsmanship and the finest handcrafted materials with cutting-edge technology and an unparalleled attention to detail. The result being perfectly resolved residences, with a style defined as understated refined luxury, delivered with a service that is second to none.

Despite COVID-19 challenges across the globe since March 2020, this year has seen Rigby & Rigby continue to build an international and sustainable presence that categorically puts the business as one of the most forward-thinking and dynamic studios in the industry. The rest of 2021 and beyond brings the completion of its private family office in Oslo, the Maybourne Riveria (the latest hotel by the Maybourne Hotel Group), Claridges 7th and 8th floor, and the aforementioned 17,000sqft mansion in Knightsbridge, to name a few.
