Rigby Group Launches Luxury Design Group

Rigby Group PLC has created Allect Design Group, to bring together some of the finest names in architecture, interior and product design; maximising their ability to achieve excellence and promoting their growth in new markets. Rigby and Rigby is a founding member of the Allect Design Group’s stable of brands.

The name is derived from the Latin word ‘allecto’, meaning to ‘entice and allure’— the power to elicit an emotional response through the beauty and craft of discerning design. This is a sentiment that resonates with both brands within the Allect stable and provides a brief to guide the group’s future acquisition strategy.

Iain Johnson, director of Allect, sees the multi-brand structure, which works across design disciplines, as a first within the luxury property design and development sector. “Allect’s mission is to foster an unrivalled level of creativity, innovation and excellence, accelerating growth and ensuring the group’s success, “ says Iain. “It will encourage synergy between brands, whilst ensuring they continue to operate in an autonomous and responsive manner.

“Rigby and Rigby offers a multi-faceted design and development skillset, spanning architecture, interiors and construction, and underpinned by a robust Research & Design and tech capability. Increasingly active on the global stage, their design and build experience spans the latest hi-tech, contemporary architecture and sensitive, often listed, heritage restoration projects.

“In contrast, Helen Green Design will continue with its focus on excellence in interior design; building on an impeccable reputation for a soft, feminine and layered aesthetic, coupled with eclectic, British design-led influences, through the commissioning of striking pieces of art, sculpture and products, by talented British designers. The development of an exclusive HGD product range will also become central to their growth, along with ventures in the luxury yacht market and boutique commercial projects.

“The most recent brand to join Allect is Lawson Robb, an award-winning global interior architecture, interior design and yacht design studio who create couture schemes for the world’s finest private addresses, vessels and special commissions. Working in super-prime hotspots such as Dubai, Bahrain, Doha and Palma, Lawson Robb delivers exciting, challenging, yet liveable, homes and yachts for its client base with whom the firm has built long-term trusted relationships spanning many years and multiple properties.”
