Rigby and Rigby is proud to announce its sponsorship of the renowned Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize, which encourages and promotes the finest of contemporary representational painting and draughtsmanship in Britain.

The Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize was created in 2005 by the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and the Lynn Foundation and is now recognised as one of the most prestigious awards to artists in the UK.

Traditionally, an exhibition of selected paintings was shown at the magnificent home of the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers, the Painters’ Hall, in the City of London. However, in 2012, due to the popularity of the competition, the exhibition moved to the Mall Galleries, in London and now includes 100 works of art.

During a reception at the exhibition, which is held this month, the winners will be awarded their prizes and the first prize-winner is also awarded a specially designed and engraved gold medal.
