The transformative project took nearly three years to complete with the existing façade of the property being retained with a new building created behind. Rigby & Rigby stripped out a whole floor to create a double-height living space. The extensive open-plan room is subtly divided into different areas for relaxing, lounging and dining. All that remains of the original first floor is the home office that sits on a mezzanine level. Three bedrooms, playroom, utility area and cloakroom, are all located on the lower ground floor that was excavated from under the original structure by Rigby & Rigby and spreads out beneath the garden.
