Rigby & Rigby is collaborating directly with the client changing its use into a single residential dwelling, as historically, the property was classed as an office space in the heart of a predominantly residential area.
The interior space plan for the property focuses on addressing its poor configuration by removing modern partitioning and restoring its existing fireplaces, cornices and shutters. The home incorporates a family living room, playroom, gym, library, formal reception, study, dining room, six bedrooms and a cinema.
The careful restoration of garden features, including the pollarding of the protected Lime Trees, will enhance both the building and the character of the conservation area. Furthermore, the application granted the restoration of its original boundary with traditional bottle balustrading and restoring the external façades to return the property back to its former glory as a residential villa.
