Climate Positive Projects - Our Commitment
One of Rigby & Rigby's core missions is to play our part in addressing climate change. As a company that sits in the epicentre of UHNW individuals and professional partners, we believe any changes we make, big or small can have a significant impact on our industry. Our team are constantly sourcing new ways in which we can reduce our direct and indirect carbon impact both onsite and in our offices without affecting the quality of the projects we work on.
In 2022, our team appointed Blue Marble Environmental Partnerships to conduct a carbon footprint study on Lancelot House, London. This hybrid approach to carbon footprint reporting is designed to complement building LCAs and organisational carbon footprint calculations with bespoke and targeted carbon accounting. The building elements are combined with data from our business operations, including, for example, site visits and project related travel, in order for Blue Marble to assess the carbon footprint of the project. This hybrid approach to carbon footprint reporting is designed to complement building LAs and organisational carbon footprint calculations with bespoke and targeted carbon accounting.
Blue Marble's MD, Henry Waite noted: "We are delighted to support Rigby & Rigby with its goal to offer clients carbon neutral projects. Blue Marble are experts at creating carbon management solutions for clients, either through our Advisory practice, or bespoke software packages. We hope our targeted solution helps Rigby & Rigby reach its Net Zero aspirations as efficiently and quickly as possible".
Once the projects carbon footprint is calculated, we intend to offset the emissions using verified offsets to create a carbon neutral project. In order to drive this mission, Rigby & Rigby will continue to adopt new efficient systems and establish partnerships with similarly aligned brands that share the same objectives. We will strive to integrate climate positive schemes into all our prospective projects.
