James Ashfield promoted to Studio Director
Rigby & Rigby’s Studio Manager for Interiors has been promoted to Studio Director for Interiors.
James joined the team in 2018 and has since worked across leading projects including Lancelot Place, a 17,000 Sqft mansion in Knightsbridge, a Private Family Office in Oslo Norway, a Private Family Office in Covent Garden and a luxury apartment in Hanover Square.
James has over fifteen years international experience as an interior architect & designer in the luxury sector, having worked throughout Europe and the Middle East where he lived for two years.
James comments “Starting the new financial year in this role is an honour and I’m very happy to continue leading the Rigby & Rigby interior design department. We are lucky to have an exceptional design team who enjoy collaborating with our in-house architecture and construction teams plus our international array of consultants, suppliers and artisans. I’m excited to help develop our service offering and continue being at the forefront of interior design. To date, we have completed some incredible projects and the outlook is very positive with ongoing projects in Central London, the UK countryside, Europe, the Middle East & Asia.”
‘James has been instrumental in his vision for the studio and we are very keen to promote from within as a business, this recognition is due to the considerable progress he and this department have made with design and our organisational structure including his concept to introduce ‘Studio Index’ our innovative research and development module which is really sophisticated in its population.
We have some amazing clients and he has been key in managing the projects with a creative flair and the output on our confidential works is amazing, over the next 2 years you will see the delivery of these works and we are looking forward to sharing in his success in the studio. I’m extremely happy to have James as a close colleague and friend as the future for him is extremely bright in our business.‘ – Iain Johnson, CEO
