The foundation was established in honor of Tessa Jowell, a respected politician and advocate for cancer research, and aims to raise awareness, funds, and drive change in the field of brain cancer. By supporting the Tessa Jowell Foundation, we hope to contribute to the development of new treatments and provide support for those affected by this devastating disease. We believe in the importance of investing in medical research and improving the lives of those impacted by illness and are proud to be associated with such a worthy cause.

The Tessa Jowell Foundation is funding a transformational new approach to driving innovation and excellence in all aspects of NHS brain cancer treatment and care through the national network of NHS Tessa Jowell Centres of Excellence. Brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of children and people under 40 in the UK and is the cancer that Dame Tessa died from in 2018.

All funds raised by this auction will ensure cutting edge treatment for patients of today, whilst paving the way for making brain cancer treatable for patients of the future.

The charity’s work to date has been commended by the NHS as being “unprecedented and exemplary” so the charity are now fundraising for the expansion of their work to NHS Tessa Jowell Centres of Excellence for Children.
